Pauway Story:Power Supply Project for Bangladesh Titas Gas & Oil Field

Power Supply Project for Bangladesh Titas Gas & Oil Field

MWM 2020 series gas generator sets are adopted in Bangladesh Titas Gas & Oil Field, with single unit power of 1.56MW. The units deliver continuous and stable power supply to ensure smooth natural gas transmission operation.

Project Background & Tender Award

Titas Gas & Oil Field is a major energy base in Bangladesh. Stable uninterrupted power is essential for gas extraction, processing and long-distance pipeline transportation, which puts forward high requirements for the reliability and continuous operation performance of power generation equipment.

Core Technology & Equipment Configuration

Generating Units

The project is equipped with MWM 2020 series natural gas generator sets, each rated at 1.56MW, making full use of local gas resources for on-site power generation with high energy utilization efficiency.

Project Positioning

On-site self-supply power station specially built for oil and gas field production, focusing on guaranteeing full-cycle power demand of natural gas gathering and transmission system.

Equipment Features

  • 1.56MW single unit output, suitable for medium and large oil & gas field working conditions
  • Directly fueled by field natural gas, energy-saving and eco-friendly
  • Strong continuous operation capability, adapt to long-cycle field production mode

Project Significance & Challenges

Project Value

Stably support daily production and gas transmission work of Titas Oil & Gas Field, effectively reduce external power dependence and improve overall operational efficiency of the energy base.

Execution Challenges

Overcame difficulties such as on-site gas pressure matching, field environment adaptation and long-term stable operation debugging of gas power units.
